Since when is a gun required for hunting? I've successfully hunted with bows, slings, spears, snares, and even with a well thrown rock. The human race has been around since long before firearms were invented, and survived quite well. A gun makes hunting a bit easier, but saying that a gun is required for successful hunting simply shows your ignorance of the topic.
If the entire social structure collapsed tomorrow and gunpowder mysteriously stopped working, I'd still be able to put meat on the table.
