The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York upheld a lower court’s decision that the city did not discriminate against Robert Jordan because the same standards were applied to everyone who took the test.
So I guess they think it would be ok to use a skin-color test to disqualify candidates, just as long as "the same standards were applied to everyone".

Then there wouldn't be anymore cops left to patrol the dangerous streets of Chicago.
If we didn't need so many cops to patrol these areas, perhaps police departments could increase the standard it takes to be one.
i disagree, 90% of the cops on the beat today are good hardworking cops doing a tough job. the problem is the 10% that go rouge and think the badge gives them power they dont have. and the only way they are going to be stopped is if we the people file charges against them in federal court for violations of our civil rights. we also need to record LEOs in the field to protect ourselves.

This but...
10% will have a very large effect...
AND
the other 90% know who they are but will never tell.

But they want the public to tell. Our justice system is a joke right now. The most dangerous ones are prob working with LEO. The more dangerous ones work higher than that.
