Anyone seeing the "chatter" on Twitter that a Russian (Artem Klyushin) tweeted about Clapper's revoked security clearance two days before Trump announced it? Not sure if it's true, but if so, rather odd.
When we talk about the Deep State, we are talking about despicable characters like John Brennan.
No, we should not just "trust" any government agency, or the leaders thereof. If there was ever any question about that, the behavior of John Brennan serves as a warning to us all.
John Brennan should be behind bars and it may yet come to pass that he will be.

Trump now says in an interview that Brennan's security clearance was revoked as payback for his involvement in helping to start the Russia probe.
This is an obvious attempt to silence others. Brennan is the example of what will happen to others should they criticize or challenge Trump in any way. Dictator-101 action.

Nobody is having their speech curtailed here. All of these people are free to go start their own shows on CNN or have their own weekly columns at the Washington Post or the New York Times, or wherever.
In fact, they probably have a platform for public speech that is greater than any they have ever had before.
This should start with Brennan and they should go down the list and revoke the clearance for anyone that is nothing more than a political hack like he is.
Security clearances need to be reviewed and re-issued only to those that have a legitimate need. Comey, Strozk, Orr, & Clapper come to mind as a few that should also be revoked. When you use a security clearance for personal gain and/or political purposes you no longer deserve it.

Wrong. He is threatening to revoke clearance to an enemies list if they continue to criticize him. He hopes this threat will keep them quiet. It is totally a blatant attempt to silence critics.
Why does someone like General Flynn, who plead guilty to lying to the FBI, still have his clearance? Answer: because he is a friend of Donald Trump that does not criticize him.
