Security clearances need to be reviewed and re-issued only to those that have a legitimate need. Comey, Strozk, Orr, & Clapper come to mind as a few that should also be revoked. When you use a security clearance for personal gain and/or political purposes you no longer deserve it.
Good post. It should not be presumed that people who leave the government will automatically keep their security clearances. Especially not for people those who are constantly running their mouths in a cavalier, politically motivated, hyper-partisan manner on television about issues that relate to those clearances.

This is an obvious attempt to silence others. Brennan is the example of what will happen to others should they criticize or challenge Trump in any way. Dictator-101 action.
Did he say "payback" or was that the media or you ?
Have a quote to share or just another lie to promote ?

Brennan was corrupt and working his corruption while in office to interfere in the election and undermine the President after he was elected.

Ask Trump, he's the one acting out petty grievances.

Trump obviously has the distorted notion that he can discredit Brennan and remove is platform. He can't.

Brennan has far more credibility than Trump will ever have, he is far more knowledgeable about security matters than Trump will ever be, and he will still be asked for commentary on security issues after Trump is a just a memory.

So, you propose an objective standard for revocation of security clearance at the end of government tenure and, in the same breath, propose it be implemented against the President's perceived political enemies? How banana republic-y.

I don’t recall Dick Cheney’s security clearance bring revoked and he may have criticized Obama. How did they use their clearances for political gain, that’s s new one.
