It will make a wonderful ad...if he runs in 2020 for the WH. His base in NY likes him (they don't love the guy) but nationally he just shot himself in the foot.
He's certainly a leader of the Democrat party here in NY and he's trying to outdo Cynthia Nixon in the September NY primaries.
IMHO Cuomo just nuked his presidential ambitions...probably a good thing. He's no Mario.
It's a bit of a shame that Cynthia Nixon is married to that ghastly looking woman with the red hair. Other than that whole aspect of her life she would be a fairly likable candidate. Call it bigoted but if she were married to a handsome middle aged man it would be a totally different ballgame. That will turn too many people off whether they'll admit it or not.

We've been working towards it for over 200 years. I fully agree with what he is saying. Compare the US to Scandinavian countries that absolutely trounce us as far as quality of life and standard of living, and then ask yourself if we have gone as far as we can. If the Fundies and MAGA idiots would sit down, shut up and get out of the way, maybe we'd get somewhere.
