The people that target Christian bakers and florists hoping to ruin their businesses and/or make $ suing would never ever target a Muslim owned bakery or florist shop. Why is that?
Next he will show a mixed race couple out the door because they wanted to buy a wedding cake, from believing God said in the bible that He did not intend for the races to mix.
Unless you have knowledge they would do such a thing, your post is pointless.
Just like the Christian right does every time they bring a suit.
It is what it is and both sides do it so let's quit pretending everyone involved are all such victims.
Exactly.
Like opponents of affirmative action filing suits against universities. Like Fisher vs. University of Texas. (aka Becky with the bad grades). It's the same people (Edward Blum) behind those suits, too. They do it time and time again.
I imagine these lawsuits are not much stress for the baker. There will be constitutional lawyers who will take up his case and he will need to do next to 0 work and pay nothing (he might even get paid for this).
Ultimately, these lawsuits are good because we need to clarify certain laws that are ambiguous and/or contradictory. As you can see from the discussion, people are confused if the baker's constitutionally protected rights (freedom of religion) allow him or do not allow him to discriminate in his bakery.
I'm on the side of the baker but I want to see this work its way to the USSC so precedence can be established across the USA.
Not too much stress? Try: he's loving every minute of it. He has become enamored of the attention whoring. He was a nobody, now he's solicited for interviews from the national news media. Loving it! Is it a stretch to wonder if he's paying people to request immoral cakes? Other Christian bakers are kicking themselves: "That could have been me..."
