Both parties are responsible for the reckless run-up of the national debt. Don't try to say that it's only the republicans.

I keep telling them that. They think they can somehow have it all without having to pay the crushing taxes, or that someone else will pay, not them. Sorry, but there is not enough money at the top to tax to fund this. The idiots cannot comprehend that the social democracy European countries have figured that out which is why their middle class has a crushing tax load.

Has anyone heard what types of cuts to the U.S military Democratic Socialist would make to help fund their programs?

Sometimes I wish I could move to another planet.

There is a dark side to capitalism that richer capitalists refuse to acknowledge. This is helping to fuel the growing socialist movement.

What do I mean by that? American workers have been turned into modern day slaves who, no matter how hard they work, can't pay the bills. Not everyone wants to, or should, go to college for several years and rack up tens of thousands in student loans.

America boomed in the 50s and 60s because we made our own stuff in American factories. Detriot was a hot bed for car manufacturers and workers. Factory workers, content with their status quo, brought home a decent paycheck and medical insurance.

But look at us now! Various facets, including high taxes, federal regulations and greed, sent our factories and jobs overseas, leaving American workers in the dust. Once the product is made by overseas cheap laborers it is sent back to USA to be sold by American workers who can't survive on the minimum wages they're paid.

People are sick of it. Conservatives, republicans and Christians can point fingers all they want. The people fighting for socialism aren't bad people. They aren't lazy either. They are a bit misguided perhaps, but in the end they only want that slice of American pie that used to exist in the 50s and 60s.

If the capitalists, republicans and Christians don't start taking heed and start listening (to people other than Limbaugh, Hannity and all the rest), that socialist movement will continue to grow until it becomes a reality in time.

Just my opinion. I'm not going to argue because arguing is pointless and it bores me to tears.
