Why are we attacking Turkey or celebrating their hardship? Turkey is a NATO ally, for God's sake. On another level, these are human beings who have little to begin with and are now struggling with a failing economy. Can you never empathize? Compare with the suffering in your rusted, busted, backwater towns if you can. And Trump had little to do with their downfall. They have been living on foreign credit for quite a while now and the chickens have come home to roost. The way Trump and the GOP are blowing up the national debt for handouts to billionaire donors, it won't be long until the US is in the same dire straits.
