When legislators pass gun laws they ignore the people who almost exclusively own the shooting. Legislators actually grant exemptions to those repeat offenders and seek out administrative violations which they pursue with vigor.. case in point the guy in DC who had an empty shell casing on his desk as a memento. Use resources to nail him while the thugs own the DC streets. That is activism at its worst.

They embrace BLM to create an environment that puts cops on a hair trigger and then go bonkers on the cops before the facts are in, when a seemingly questionable incident occurs.
Until the community recognizes the stats and rejects BLM bs they are the cause of the deadly environment cops have to work in. Crimes go unsolved because the community embraces gang law and despises rats.
BLM and democrats are the cops worst enemy. The lie of Ferguson forwarded by the media and embraced by the CBC, HRC, Bernie, et al have compounded hate and fear and made cops easy targets of criminals and activist prosecutors and career politicians looking for votes.
Democrats do their best to sustain issues, not solve them, as the issues are useful for future use when needed to support some political narrative.

I would bet anything, majority of these shootings were drug related, turf related. Another negative impact of the failing drug war!
There is SOOO much money to be made from drug sales, dealers are killing each other just to have the territory!! That just shows how great the demand is for these drugs too.
