He’s setting up the Fed as the fall guy for any future contraction in the economy for his base, who largely don’t know better. It’s an extension of the derp state and Trump continues to play the victim.

Trump is right on this - at least at the moment. The Fed is pushing rates up too fast. There is scant evidence that inflation is becoming a problem. Real wage growth is actually running in reverse and the tariffs make it worrisome that economic growth will slow significantly once their effect works through the economy.

Trump complains about the Fed and interest rates
Not a day goes by when the petulant one doesn't stomp his foot and whine about something, or someone.

Tariff's are a negotiating tool, and the tariff's are working to bring other countries to reduce the tariff's on our goods. But I guess the Leftist controlled "mainstream" media isn't telling you how that has been working. Some countries have agreed to reduce their tariffs in response. That has been the purpose all along. Obama never even tried to get those tariffs on our products reduced. He was happy with the way things were.

Right. That's why he wanted to reduce your taxes (don't deny that you got a tax cut), and reduce corporate tax rates to save your damn job, and bring many jobs back to the USA. Why do you think companies took their production out of the U.S. in the first place? Because we had the highest corporate tax rate in the world, that's why. Do you think U.S. businesses liked that? Why would they stay here to pay such high taxes?
Who said anything about gas prices?
The issues with reading comprehension continue.

As for the OP, the president no doubt believes that people will ignore what they themselves are experiencing and believe that he actually cares about their reduced buying power, etc.

If the quote above is any indication, he’s not wrong.

Trump was born on third base. He is just a rich kid who lost other people’s money and filed for banktruptcy four times. He has no business acumen other than he is a lying self-promoting douche bag.

I had naively hoped the Federal Reserve was one institution Trump would leave alone. He got his appointment in Powell, etc.

But the "Hugo Chavez" of the north has not disappointed with yet another critique of the Fed...despite his many critiques of the Fed in the past for NOT raising rates.
