Yeah -- if that's all they had to go on but it seems there's someone else talking AND there is hard evidence.
That's the thing -- you folks are thinking all there is, is Cohen's word -- when there is more.
They wouldn't have made a plea deal if all they had was Cohen's word.

What does it matter......Cohen says he is guilty -- so he is.
And now Pecker is talking.
And now they are saying tapes, papers, etc.......back up their claims.

There is legal precedent that is supposed to prevent anyone pleading guilty to a crime and being convicted when there is no corroborating evidence.
It keeps people from being tortured and under duress from making false confessions...

The SDNY prosecutors took over hundred thousand pieces of evidence out of Cohen's personal and business locations--very, very small amount were classified as attorney-client documents/information so everything else was open to the prosecutors...
They had 6 blackberry phones and other phones Cohen used not to mention his electronic equipment and paper documents/Cloud documents...
There was not a LACK of evidence...
And remember that at the initial hearing the only clients Cohen provided to the court were Hannity, Trump and Trump Corp... And yet most of what he had from Trump and Trump Corp were deemed not attorney-client protected info...
