In the WKA case his parents at that time period were forbidden naturalization AND re-entry. That was what it was originally about, WKA was denied re-entry into the US. It doesn't answer the question of birthright citizenship for those whose parents are/were here illegally, only for those here legally regardless of lacking US citizenship.

The parents were far worse than illegal. They were barred by law from citizenship. That is not true of an illegal alien which can easily be cured.
Hart-Cellar simultaneously managed to give us both more legal and illegal immigration from latin America, plus immigration from all over the world. Despite Kennedy and the democrats denials at the time, it was an intentional decree to drastically demographically alter America.
Every nation especially Israel should be so fortunate to have traitors like Cellar, Ed Kennedy or a Merkel.
Yep

Its already been stated that it would require a constitutional amendment, you don't just rule something out. I would agree with a change because some do play the system.
Who stated it would require a constitutional amendment

WKA alone would hopelessly defeat your opinion. Yes his parents were legal. But they were also forbidden citizenship. That is a far higher barrier than merely being illegal.

Why do you suppose this has never been challenged in the courts if what you claim is true.
