You can't imagine Pence being squeaky clean? You left wingers have been making fun of him since he became VP because he's squeaky clean. I have to disagree with you on this one.
I believe Trump will drop Pence as his running mate in 2020, and replace him with Nikki Haley.
Then in 2024, she will be the candidate, and more than likely, the first woman to be president.
I think Trump will be lookng for a person with more conviction, Pence has none,, and Haley seems to have that.
She, like Trump, states what is on her mind, and is capable of getting things done, even in that worthless UN general assembly.
My money is on her being picked for the 2020 second spot on the ticket.
