I think any predictions at this point are pointless. No one, even the smartest of political analysts, has any idea what will happen.
I will say, though: Things just got worse for Trump in the last 48 hours. And certainly anyone who thought Clinton should be impeached for lying about his personal sex life should wholeheartedly support the impeachment of someone with a long trail of corruption like Trump.

So how well will the Impeachment Platform work for the Democrats? Will it gain them the House or cost them everything? And more importantly will Trump be impeached?
A most excellent tactic. Rally the GOP to the polls to protect Trump.
Thing is I bet you will find many of them sitting at home this election.

I'm with Bob. Not sure I have heard from many Democrats about impeachment. Actually the best bet for them is let him stay in there and continue tearing apart the remainder of the Republican party. Trump is the best thing that could have happened to them, in the long run. It will be decades before anyone will be willing to trust Republicans again. At the very least it will force any remaining Republicans to the center.
I agree. This troll poll omits the most likely answer - Trump will be impeached when Republicans get sick of him. So far, they’re not nearly there.
I've been reading The Death of American Virtue, about the Clinton impeachment and why it failed. Very enlightening.
I don’t know why so many people fail to realize that impeachment is a political process. But it is, and therefore getting it done requires a keen grasp of politics.
If the Democrats win the House, they may impeach him, but the Republicans will retain control of the Senate, where the President would be tried and he will be found not guilty of any crimes, just as Bill Clinton was in his trial in the Senate.
Just a reminder, impeachment simply means to bring charges against, similar to an indictment in the criminal justice system.
Maybe you should read it again. Or maybe it just isn't that good. Clinton was successfully impeached.
But he remained in office, didn’t he? The goal of the Rs was definitely to get him gone, and they failed spectacularly, spending tens of millions of dollars on top legal talent and exhaustive investigation. You really think that professional pols - R, D, and otherwise - haven’t studied the reasons for that to death? Maybe you should try some critical thinking on this subject - and stop assuming stupidity exists where you’d like it to exist.

Got some proof of this. Or did you simply make it up?
Bill Clinton sexually assaulted a young white house intern. Then he lied about it. They had a case about that. Do you think they could have ignored it?
