No, you can't do this. Many poor people did live without indoor plumbing. You do not mean what you say, you just want to demonize people because they are poor.

but the fact that what many people consider "poor" today was considered to be no big deal fifty years ago. When I was a kid, I shared my bedroom with three sisters, and there were two of us to a twin-sized bed. (I kid you not.) I wonder how many people would think that was no big deal TODAY?
That still happens a lot and you are kidding yourself to believe they do not.

Diapers included.
I find it sad.........I'm not directing this right as you as I do not know your previous statements on this but I see the same sort of argument you just made from the very same people that will stomp and say that the United States is a Christian nation built upon Christian ideas.

There is nothing Christian in the ideas posted by many.

Because they know what reality is - this miserable life, day after day.
Whatever you make - put it right back for necessities such as roof over your head and food. And that's how it's going to be their whole life.
So here come the tattoos, the manicures, - anything that helps them to live in their imaginary world and to cope with their lives.
Pretty simple, no?
If they have arms and legs, have all of their toes and fingers, don't have any health problems, are standing on U.S. soil, and are here legally, then it isn't life that is miserable, the issue is a miserable attitude.

What’s never discussed by either party is why are we paying for and supporting poor women to have multiple babies they can’t afford or care for properly?
We should be giving incentives to NOT have children until there is adequate financial and personal responsibility shown and motivation to get skills for jobs instead of skills for being a welfare baby mama.

Often times a mortgage payment is less than rent.
The point is for many middle class after THEY pay their rent/mortgage, utilities, insurance premiums, Dr. bills, food etc. they often don't have anymore disposable income than those on assistance with their rent and utilities paid or subsidized, food stamps, medicaid, etc. yet they don't spend what they have left on tattoos, salons, booze, etc. to feel better about not having any money in their pocket. The only difference is one has to get up every morning take the kids to daycare then go to work and the other doesn't.

Well the answer is obvious that we need to let a few million more illiterate people cross our boorders so they can get free healthcare and start dropping even more babies.

Surely this is such a rich country we can provide the necessities for anyone who can cross our borders.

Warren, Sanders and the Dem party should be proud of these problems.

Go read the 1996 Welfare reform bill. Parents with children over 12 months are required to work or participate in job or educational training. TANF benefits are limited in some states to 12 months while others allow the receipt of benefits for 60 months. Those are lifetime limit by the way.

The reason that many parents are exempted from those requirements is because the states spend their welfare block grants on 'other things' like the general fund. It's not cheap to train people for work or pay for childcare for their kids or pay school tuition for them to finish their education so some states just ignore the law. Parents who ignore the law lose their benefits.

Is it even possible for you to stay on topic?

Are the expectations here too difficult?
