"The poll revealed that 59 percent of registered voters approve of Mueller’s investigation, marking an 11-point jump from respondents who said the same in a July Fox News poll." -- The Hill
That makes no sense whatsoever. Mueller found crimes completely unrelated to Trump.
Mueller isn't DONE. He's not even done with Manafort. Trial #2 will address crimes related to Russia. And the investigations continue. You have NO CLUE who is going to be charged next - and for what. Only Mueller and his team know what evidence they have gathered so far - and WHO it implicates.

Yup. I think Mueller is batting, oh, 1000 right now?
If the holdout was a hardcore Trump supporter, that just shows even more how this is no witch hunt. Even that person couldn't ignore the overwhelming evidence Mueller had on at least the 8 guilty counts.
Manafort is guilty. More guilty than the verdict reflects. We Trump supporters have no problem sending guilty people to jail.
Aside from those who will never be swayed by any evidence not supporting their worldview, the steady stream of results, and now significantly higher-profile results, has had an impact in my opinion. While the pre-Tuesday plea deals were significant, they were significant more to political junkies than the average person. Those officials weren't common household names.
Manafort and Cohen are far higher-profile and adding their names to the list of convicted criminals resulting from these investigations has I think convinced a lot of on the fence people that there's some real substance here rather than just smoke. (yes, I know Cohen is not directly Mueller's doing).
And the fact that NY state and now the Manhatten DA appear to be going after Trump Corp and Cohen for various tax and perhaps fraud charges--
Surely resonably people of my age (70) remember having Spiro Agnew removed as VP because of his criminal activity not to mention Nixon's resignation because of Watergate???
They had to remember Clinton's close brush with impeachment for something that started prior to his presidency (WhiteWater) but ran aground because of lying under oath because of a SUBPOENA by Ken Starr-that Kavanaugh helped draw up and serve...
The hypocrisy is engulfing the GOP...I sorely miss John McCain and I am a Dem--but I think McCain had enough backbone to call a cur a cur...and hold his party accountable for their responsibility...
This is all about GOP members in Congress who likely have taken contributions that can be traced back to illegal Russian donations...
I would not be surprised if the investigation goes deep enough that the NRA took a LOT of foreign money from Russia maybe not knowing or maybe didn't really care and spread it among GOP candidates...the NRA gave Trump more money than any other GOP candidate in recent history...and that is a lot of money...
McConnell wasn't even running and he got a big donation...
Lyndsay Graham looked physically sick today when he threw Sessions under the big bus...
There is something dying in the GOP infecting all of them with this lack of moral clarity...
That is why we need term limits...as much as anything...
