Trump is his own worst enemy. He has no loyalty to anyone and then he wonders why people are turning on him. He doesn’t do anything for anybody but himself. He’s very self absorbed and i sometimes wonder if he even cares if his son goes to jail.

The "witch hunt" is Donald Trump's figment of imagination. Mueller is yet to say what exactly he is investigating.
Mueller was charged with investigating possible collusion between Russia and the Campaign and anything else that is revealed during the investigation. Mueller Team is following the money.
Another thing he could do is fire Sessions NOW instead of after the midterms because he will have better luck getting in a pit bull AG through Congress with an R majority which he probably won’t have after midterms and will have to settle for another wimp milk toast AG.
The House has no say in the appointment of cabinet officials. That's only the Senate's purview. I think there i no question the House will flip to the majority to be Democratic, but it's a toss up if the Senate will.
The base looks at the source and excuses anything that challenges their perceptions.

I don't remember the chaos and pure criminality at high levels in the Obama administration. Nor G.W. Bush, Clinton, Bush 1, Reagan, Carter, Ford, we'll skip Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower etc. Every one of the presidents can be knocked for something, but none, except Nixon, were involved in any of these levels of criminality, and frankly, Nixon was not as bad as Trump.
I think President Trump should ask for them to give the Supreme Court original jurisdiction on this matter. That is constitutionally legal but would require Congress to act. If we can pull this off, we can bypass all the packed lower courts and I think this Supreme Court seems fair enough to rule in Trump's favor.
If we wait till the midterms, if we lose, then the Left can block this bill in the house of Congress that they win. And if they move to impeach and RINOs go along with them, then they have eviscerated the US Constitution and deposed a lawful President on bogus charges.
I do realize that Congress might not be able to pass such a bill (due to treachery) but that also actually works in our favor before the midterms because any "Republican" voting no against it will have outed himself/herself as a swamprat and we can vote his/her butt out at the midterms by voting third party as we can tell that they can't be trusted at all.
Also, if we go this route and lose the midterms, the thing would go into the court and might be able to stop any impeachment attempts or overturn them if they were ruled upon.
Seems like a very complicated, ilegal and convoluted scheme to protect a criminal. That IS NOT what the Supreme Court is for.
