You had me when you said “he is his own worst enemy”.

Mueller was charged with investigating possible collusion between Russia and the Campaign and anything else that is revealed during the investigation. Mueller Team is following the money.

This investigation was never limited to Trump.

Muller Team has not said a word about Trump.

The House has no say in the appointment of cabinet officials. That's only the Senate's purview. I think there i no question the House will flip to the majority to be Democratic, but it's a toss up if the Senate will.

Same deal happened with Obama’s base.
I don't remember the chaos and pure criminality at high levels in the Obama administration. Nor G.W. Bush, Clinton, Bush 1, Reagan, Carter, Ford, we'll skip Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower etc. Every one of the presidents can be knocked for something, but none, except Nixon, were involved in any of these levels of criminality, and frankly, Nixon was not as bad as Trump.

Regardless of who won in 2016, the winner would enter the WH with unprecedented real and perceived conflicts of interest and baggage.

If we wait till the midterms, if we lose, then the Left can block this bill in the house of Congress that they win. And if they move to impeach and RINOs go along with them, then they have eviscerated the US Constitution and deposed a lawful President on bogus charges.

I do realize that Congress might not be able to pass such a bill (due to treachery) but that also actually works in our favor before the midterms because any "Republican" voting no against it will have outed himself/herself as a swamprat and we can vote his/her butt out at the midterms by voting third party as we can tell that they can't be trusted at all.

Also, if we go this route and lose the midterms, the thing would go into the court and might be able to stop any impeachment attempts or overturn them if they were ruled upon.
Seems like a very complicated, ilegal and convoluted scheme to protect a criminal. That IS NOT what the Supreme Court is for.

Donald Trump is a shell propped up by lies. He’s a crook and con man by trade. He needs to face the judicial system like any other criminal.

“Fighting back” does not mean obstruction of justice.

Right now the House seems at greatest risk of losing their majority.

The Senate is responsible for confirmation of nominations.

Firing anyone at this point with less than 3 months to the midterms may have serious consequences.

Trump is unhinged and desperate at this point. He may well cut off his nose to spite his face (fire Sessions and Rosenstein before the November elections).
