It wasn't a case of McCain running a bad campaign or being a lifer in 2008, it was the bad feelings we got from the Republican Party due to the Bush wars, Katrina and the economic crisis as well as the handling of the bailout. I defy anyone to name a single Republican who would have won against the Perfect Storm that was Obama.

Exactly. The Republicans could have ran the corpse of Ronald Reagan and they still would have lost in 2008.
