You may be able to understand my point if you stop imagining things I've never said.

So now suddenly you mention unaffordable housing when I've never even touched on it in previous thread with you. The things you accused me of saying is so far off the mark, it's pointless to proceed any further.

You contradict yourself over and over.

Yes, California people of means have been escaping California for quite a while now, mostly due to the excessive regulation and the sky rocketing COL. They often bring their regressive ideas with them, such as to Arizona. You need to keep them there. Arizona doesnt want them.

The salary is $71760. This is the money that goes to your pocket. The rest of the fund (roughly $110000) goes to benefits, whick does not go to your pocket directly. Health benefit is good only if you go see doctors or get medication, vacation/holidays time don't convert to cash, retirement fund is no use until you reach retirement age and have been working for the city for a defined number of years(20?).

If it just stops at that, which I'm sure it will, treating a symptom and ignoring the cause. It's not her money, it's the taxpayers money.
