Exactly the point my wife made. Best friends don't keep secrets.
That's all theory and based on personal experience.
There's tons of stuff I never told anybody about -- including my best friend. I have some pretty significant life events through my teens, 20's, 30's, 40's,50's -- I have chosen NOT to share with anybody.
I had stuff happen at work I never said anything to anybody about. some in my teens, some in my 20's.....not even my husband.
I don't share everything with a 'bestie' -- it's not my style.
AND my best friend in high school had a major secret she never shared with me until I 'found out'....and I spent almost every day with her.
I know you folks have theories of 'this could never happen'...but it could....
It could be Kavanaugh doesn't remember, it could be Ford mixed up events......
Ford says she hid in the bathroom till it was safe. Then she left the party. She doesn't remember who helped her safely get away from the house. Wouldn't that be crucial? She was in a strange neighborhood miles from home.
At age 17 I was at a beach party that got out of hand. I locked myself in the bathroom and went out the window.
Now, years later I don't remember how I got back to where I was staying, or where I was staying. I had one friend with me---I don't know what happened to my other friend. I just wanted out of there without regard to anyone else.
But I remember the name of the teacher/chaperone who was just as drunk, if not drunker, as the boys.
Anyone else mute the video stream when the democrats take the mic??? I cant stand to hear their BS non-sense. Its so phony.
LOL — you nailed it.
I mute the Ds and click on this forum on my iPad until the Dems are off.
But I could hear my husband LOL in the other room when Crazy Mazie and Spartacus were on.....
No they don't. They don't tell parents or teachers but they usually tell their best friends. The best friend they were at the party drinking with when it happened. Why be embarrassed to tell your best friend who was drunk at the party doing the same things you were. Nothing to be ashamed about there? All she did differently was try and go to the bathroom at the wrong time apparently.
Well, somebody talked, way back when, because multiple former students from both Ford and Kavanaugh's schools have said it was all the talk for days afterwards. My guess is that the boys bragged, while Ford was humiliated and embarrassed. Typical of boy-girl expectations back then and sometimes now as well, sadly.
Well, if you get thrown down on a bed and your attacker starts tries to get your wallet out of your pocket, one can safely surmise that you are about to be robbed.
