I am not a political junkie or anything, but even I know that the Republicans are trying to get a nomination before the elections, because there is a risk of the Republicans losing the majority, and with that, a high chance of never being able to nominate who they want.
Maybe it would force them to pick a moderate. I think that might be the best thing for the court.
I guess this shows the divide in this country because I thought Graham delivered THE talking point and thought he was wonderful!
There's no divide ... just stubborn partisanship. If Laehy or Feinstein behaved the way Graham did, bumping up and down in his chair spitting all over the place, I would criticize them as well.
It's not a court of law; it's a job interview. There's plenty of conservative jurists out there without baggage. Gorsuch got in pretty easy.
Don’t be naive. Gorsuch didn’t change the composition of the court. Kavanaugh does and with it being near the midterms, Dems tried this dirty Hail Mary.
You don't find it odd that the parents of a 15 year old girl would let her go to a party with seniors with alcohol? Growing up in the era in question-it was where I grew up.
I said it was not add to see people at such age at a party. No one said the parents knew or allowed it. She could have easily just lied to her parents, as many teens do.

Really? Find me a Republican willing to admit they have a chance of losing the Senate.
An overly-emotional grown man CRYING. An obvious alcoholic. Someone completely out of touch with anyone but himself. .. I wouldn't want this guy in a position of making decisions on the judicial branch of this country
A guy defending himself and showing emotion is out of touch and a drunk. Is that what the Kamella Harrris fund raising emails are saying?

Ok, so nominate another conservative. Why'd you move the goalposts?
