Stunts like Christine Ford's accusation and how the liberal team is playing it to muck up anything with the government are precisely what makes it so much harder for many women to have credibility or respect.

Delaying a hearing simply tells the entire country that Ford and Katz are posturing with nothing but lies and political games.
The FBI said they won't investigate because it isn't within their jurisdiction to do so. The alleged incident, most of which the supposed victim can't even recall, is a local law enforcement issue, and both were minors at the time. Furthermore, her alleged "witness" has already contradicted her allegations. He said it didn't happen.
The FBI requires a request from the WH to investigate, they don't just start an investigation of a justice on their own. There are many of these incidents that don't end up on the police record, that doesn't mean they don't occur.
She felt strongly enough to seek counseling so it appears something did happen.
by the way, Maryland has no statue of limitation on rape.....why doesn't she files a police report in Maryland? and at least take the police report to the senate with all the facts under oath.

Every nominee will face a 70 years old woman that was "uncomfortable" 50 years ago. This is ridiculous. Good people are not going to politics because those things. Who wants their name ruined?
Here is a thought: Why not live a decent life and not take advantage of vulnerable people? If you make mistakes, own up to them. Don't just lie and say, "no way, I did anything like that." Just because we made some stupid mistakes in our youth does not mean you have to lie and cheat the rest of your life.
Gee, because a woman is older, she does not deserve to have the chance to be heard? Some women and men carry hurts around their whole lives, because some bully or brute took advantage of them. Sometimes it's their own family.
