You don't get a free pass because you're a woman to accuse someone of anything without proof, and you shouldn't have the ability to ruin someones life because you have a personal grudge against someone for whatever reason. No you don't, even if you're a woman. Because you're a woman, it doesn't make what you say a fact. I guess in your mind, women are incapable of lying and making up stories about sexual misconduct even though we see this happening more and more and almost everyday.
So, the man should get a "free pass," because he is a guy and guys just do that "stuff," when they are teens??????

Nah. Neither is right. If the guy messed around as a kid he should own up to it and at least apologize to the person or persons he may have hurt.

This is not a guy going for CEO of a company, this is the SUPREME COURT. Lifetime job. Millions of people count on the SUPREME COURT.

Donald Trump, as POTUS, has complete authority to ORDER the FBI to conduct a formal investigation at any time. Are you aware of that?

Is there precedent? Yes there is. In 1991, Bush ordered the FBI to investigate the sexual assault claims of Anita Hill against then SCOTUS nominee Thomas.

Have you got a response?

Donald Trump says it's "very unfair" that Kavanaugh is being accused of sexual assault.

There's no proof. I could accuse you of the something without any proof, and it could affect you job and your life? Do you think that's right or fair? A guy has a right to say it didn't happen if indeed it didn't happen and there is no proof that it happened. That's not giving him a free pass.

I might have agreed if they had proceeded without offering to hear testimony from her but if she doesn't show up to testify after all the demands to be heard then it is the Dems that will be on the losing end. The left will be the left, and the right will be the right, this is all a play for the middle. My sense is that they knew from the start that the Dems were desperate to delay this vote but given the seriousness of the charges that it was worth a small delay to hear her story. Now my sense is they are becoming convinced that it is all about delay tactics and she will never subject herself to questions under oath.

We all know the only reason you are demanding an investigation is because it will push the vote for confirmation back after the midterms, and for no other reason. You're outrage isn't fooling anyone.

You only hurt your own case. You lessen your own argument and strengthen mine. Thank you for that.

If kavanaugh is truly innocent, why not encourage and welcome a formal FBI investigation, since it will prove (according to Kavanaugh supporters) that is will 100% completely clear his name?

Monday hearing - Ford & Kavanaugh both testify, "he said/she said." No real answers. Somebody is lying but we don't know who.

FBI investigates - a "formal investigation" is conducted, the FBI will be able to release an official report that clears Kavanaugh of any wrong doing.

There are two possible outcomes: Kavanaugh forever having a sexual assault hanging over his head on the Supreme Court with no definitive answers.....OR.....a formal FBI investigation that completely exonerates Kavanaugh of any wrongdoing and the Dems have nothing else to say.

WHICH WOULD TRUMP SUPPORTERS PREFER?
And then will come a woman who was with him in Second grade and will tell that he pulled her braids at PT. There is no end to those things.

How many women has Bill Clinton assaulted since Kavanaugh supposedly assaulted Ford?

Can we re-open those cases as well? Are those women believable as well?

We can put Mueller on the Kavanaugh case and he can find someone who is guilty of tax evasion from the 70s to lock up.

Donald Trump has the authority to, at any time, ORDER the FBI to conduct a full investigation of Dr Ford's claims.

The last time this happened when a SCOTUS nominee was accused of sexual assault in 1991, the then president George Bush DID order the FBI to conduct a formal investigation.

Any Trump/Kavanaugh supporters want to address that? I'm betting not.
