I'm not doubting "our" story. I'm not a die-hard Republican, first of all, and I don't see that the GOP has a story other than pointing out that there's probably not going to be any way to prove her allegations. Because of that, we're down to the core principal of innocent until proven guilty. I'm not the type of woman who will throw out due process just because someone who shares my gender makes a claim. Apparently you're the type of woman who has no problem disparaging someone female because she disagrees.
You aren't buying the story because you want Kavannaugh confirmed.
This kind of allegation is awkward. It opens you up to folks making all kinds of personal insults and accusations. When it was clear the hearing was meant to not find the truth but attack her -- you are damn right she backed down.
I don't care who Trump gets confirmed, but you're right that I'll be happy with a more conservative judge so that we maintain balance in what is rapidly becoming another legislative branch of the government.
I'm not buying the story because there's nothing to buy. And when was it clear that the hearing was meant to attack her? Saying okay, come in and tell us about it is attacking her? There's only one 'side' here that's being unreasonable.
Good article how the GOP response is helping to drive college educated women from the GOP
That's an opinion, and the reality is quite different. You see... college educated women have fathers, brothers, husbands, sons, etc. How do you think they would feel if their male loved one were the next to be falsely accused with no corroborating evidence whatsoever? Yeah... College educated women think about that, too.
The "me too" false accusation crap has gone WAY too far.
just add this to the list of democrats illegal or unethical actions. voters who support them are complicit in the demise of the rule of law in America.
So now Christine Ford is refusing to testify to the senate? Did someone explain the definition of perjury and the penalty involved to her? Perhaps slander should also have been explained.
That is the trap the Democrats have set. Go after this woman and every nutjob leftist will go bonkers.
Next she will be claiming to have been attacked by "bigfoot" and chased by "sasquatch" and won't testify until there is a full investigation.
You left out her allegation that she was abducted and probed by extraterrestrials and she INSISTS that the FBI investigates that.
