Republicans are willing to delay it long enough to allow them the chance to properly shame this lady. That's the best they're willing to do
Also, she will go first and a woman special counsel will be asking tge questions.

If Ford is confident in her testimony, she will accept. If she is not, she will not accept.

No one is attempting to destroy Judge Kavanaugh nor his family. An individual woman has come forth with an account of an event that, if it is true, disqualifies Kavanaugh from sitting on the highest court of the United States. If that account is not true, then the judge is qualified for the job.

That's all it is. There's not going to be any life destruction happening ii Kavanaugh is innocent. There won't be any life destruction happening if he's guilty, either, unless the woman issues a complaint, and the event has time limits that haven't expired. Even then, a jury would determine the life destruction, if it was to happen.

Do you want Kavanaugh to sit in judgement over you if he is a rapist?

Wouldn't you prefer to know he was not a rapist and the woman lied?

How will you know either if the matter is not investigated?

Guess you haven’t seen the media coverage

I wonder if the people posting judgmental and sarcastic remarks about her would make the exact same remarks about their daughter if she revealed something similar years later? Or, their sister?

This woman has brought shame upon herself. Looks like she is being assisted by one of the masterminds behind the Bork character assassination job and the Anita Hill farce.

Dems are definitely anti-democracy.

It would be so nice to live in a country where privileged young men were able to force themselves upon or rape schools girls without consequence. Most of those are Muslim though, are they not? Here in puritanical America, no means no - as it should.

What if your son, father or husband was accused and dragged through the mud with scant evidence?

Would want all the witnesses to testify under oath - especially Mark Judge. And everyone at the party to testify. and anyone else that has relevant info on the subject. Everyone would want this. Unless they are guilty and have something to hide.

It looks like there is something in this letter that she is trying to hide for some reason.

I'll bet there is discussion to the effect of delaying the confirmation.

Judge gave a statement under the penalty of perjury if he was lying. At this point that is all he can do. She didn't provide any specifics for him to testify to at this moment. If something comes out of her testimony that he should testify to, then yes, I would want him to testify.
