I do not understand her Motive.

Here's what I think happened. I'm a general Trump supporter as a Canadian in that I see the hypocrisy in the media trying to elect Hillary, understanding the 'forgotten Americans', there really is an effort to globalize, etc.

But this is my honest and fair opinion. The trauma she had was real. She did go to therapy with her husband in 2012. It was buried. It happened during an era where a women was at fault for being at a party and drunk. Her parents would have gotten mad at her, and not at anybody else (that's what boys will do stigma).

Fast forward. She came forward in 2012 with her therapist along with her husband (yes, stuff that is traumatising can impact you for the rest of your life, especially if you try to ignore it). It probably affected their sex life as she tried to suppress it but it always affected their intimacy since it brought back flashes of that assault. Even that feeling from her husband. Like a looping never ending nightmare.

Now she is an active Democratic member in the most Liberal state of all (California). She probably talked with a lot of her fellow democratic or like minded friends that "Hey, this guy went to our school or affiliated school". Then somehow throughout discussions, it was from her friends: "That's too good.. you have a connection to this guy... how can we nail him" "Ohh, you should totally accuse him of something... frack that guy.. especially with me too movement and the climate".

Ford who genuinely has reservations as her trauma is real was hesitant. But her friends or people close to her sold her on "Listen, this guy will truly send us back to the Stone Age. F this guy". Now Ford might have felt that too as an instigator. Either way, she was sold on "Ok, I'll say it was Kavanaugh.. it's not that big of a stretch since what happened was a blurr. I know one or two of the guys for sure".

Great. Through their Democratic connections, Feinstein was the obvious choice. So she crafted a letter to Feinstein but not in a real determinate way. It could have been him, I am sure it was him. etc.

To summarize, Ford is the best connection, it is plausible given that some or all of the same guys were from Kavanaugh's school. And it's just easy and convenient to say it's Kavanaugh. Plus, she hired a sexual assault lawyer (the equivalent of an tow truck ambulance chaser) did the polygraph to get guidance as strengthen her case. But because Ford is genuinely tramautized by it, she cannot withstand real scrutiny, plus her story wouldn't hold true.

To me, the simple fact that the Therapist noted 4 guys but she said it was a mistake. It was Kavanaugh only then another guy came in and stopped it, so at most, 2 guys. Not sure if the real notes will ever get out, but I guarantee it was hours of detailed discussion on FOUR guys. The Therapist is not that stupid.

Now that friend who supposedly stopped it, Judge I think is his last name, might have been one of the guys there, which explains why he doesn't want to go to the media (also Ford can clearly name and remember), but knowing it's best to be under oath and doesn't want anymore trouble said "Kavanaugh was not there". The implicit threat is "Judge, you assaulted me, so you'd better back me up on this". This also explains why there is such stalling tactics on the advice of the lawyer and why she'll never go testify. The real trauma is too real, and she cannot lie properly and remember her story straight.

But the Dems hope the damage is done, his name tarnished. And they'll use it as a future excuse to go after him. However, IMO, Ford will want nothing to do with it, knowing she is lying and doesn't want to actually re-live it just to get at Kavanaugh. It's more like "Listen, I gave you guys the most I could give and what you wanted. Sorry, can't help you further".

Doesn't the fact she names a witness means it's less likely that she's lying on Kavanaugh? If this woman wanted to lie on Kavanaugh then it seems more likely that she would have said that Kavanaugh attacked her somewhere where there was no witnesses. Nope. She's naming him because he might have been one of the assailants there, or people there. She might remember it a certain way. But IMO, she is throwing Kavanaugh in there as part of the Democratic ploy and got pressured to come public that it was him since she is the closest connection to that school and Kavanaugh.

I wrote in another thread that the therapist stated 4 men were in the room. They likely discussed this for hours. No way the therapist is wrong. But because it doesn't fit the new fake story, it's "Oh, the therapist was mistaken". So it starts off as Kavanaugh only, then Judge comes in (so really, there were 2 guys instead of 4 in the room, but 1 was the rescuer, while 2 other guys were just hanging outside in the living room).

That's the way I see it. Judge could have been one one of the participants in this, so there is an implicit threat of "go along with my story, because you know you were there but now I'm saving your arse so corroborate my story.. or you might get outed as one of the 4 real assailants"

Just about everyone knows the worst witnesses are alleged friends and family. pssst. they lie for each other.

Story from therapy sessions is completely different than story used to accuse.
I won't say she is lying because who knows? I will say that her word just isn't enough to destroy a person's career or life.

Ford's behavior is and has been of someone who is not concerned about being sexually touched at a party once in high school but rather about derailing the appointment of a Supreme Court nominee who she and her political party - that she very closely associates and identifies with - is opposed to.

And now she is playing blatantly manipulative P.R. games with the Senate Judiciary Committee, who has made extraordinary efforts to accommodate her coming in to testify, and still she refuses to testify. All of the witnesses she has named have testified under oath to the Judiciary Committee and they ALL refute her unsworn story. There is literally zero evidence to support her claims. None.

She is not a trustworthy person and she is working with the Democrats to try to obstruct the confirmation process for a Supreme Court Judge. There is no need to play the fool about what she is up to now. We can all see it with our own eyes. Enough is enough.
