Um wasn't that was drove us to Gorsch being the eighth justice on the SCOTUS, not Garland? At least the left are bringing up character flaws in Kavanaugh and not superficial strawman arguments. Row V. Wade cannot be overturned, however a similar case could lead to its decision becoming a Plessy V. Ferguson to a Brown V. Board... Of course, that kind of case would need to go in front of the SCOTUS first.

I do not understand her Motive.
Her Motive is to tell the truth about this scumbag, so he is not named a Supreme Court Judge. We don't need people like him (and Clarence Thomas) deciding the fate of millions of US citizens.

Yep. Along with Gorsuch, Alito, Roberts.

And the Democrats have...Sotomayor, Ginsburg and Kagan. Three brilliant legal scholars -- just look at their opinions.

Wow, that’s rich. Which party is ignoring the constitution and claiming that all women accusers of sexual assault must be believed? It isn’t the “Pubs.”

None of these judges are of the scum ilk that Clarence Thomas is.

During a Presidential election year below is partially what was said and followed:

Quote:
Mr. Biden, then the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, said there should be a different standard for a Supreme Court vacancy “that would occur in the full throes of an election year.” The president should follow the example of “a majority of his predecessors” and delay naming a replacement, Mr. Biden said. If he goes forward before then, the Senate should wait to consider the nomination.

“Some will criticize such a decision and say that it was nothing more than an attempt to save a seat on the court in hopes that a Democrat will be permitted to fill it, but that would not be our intention,” Mr. Biden said at the time. “It would be our pragmatic conclusion that once the political season is underway, and it is, action on a Supreme Court nomination must be put off until after the election campaign is over.

“That is what is fair to the nominee and essential to the process. Otherwise, it seems to me,” he added, “we will be in deep trouble as an institution.”
Video of whole speech, worth watching today to see EXACTLY what was said.

The stars are aligning against you and your kind. November is going to be really hard on you.
But you know this. It’s why you’re so desperate now.

My wife of 37 years, had her first husband cheat on her. Which of the two of us do think paid more for that indiscretion?
