Have you not watched any conservative news outlets at all? Thats all they cover is Chicago shootings, thats why you can see it on this very forum, with 100 page threads. Its covered at nauseum.
In this instance safety gets me NOT shot. What exactly does ‘freedom’ get me?
Where's your proof that restricting guns is going to keep you safer? Many of these countries that outlawed guns still have people being wounded and killed by either knife attacks or vehicles plowing through crowds. Even here on American soil, Timothy McVeigh, 9/11 and the Boston bombing proves you don't need to fire a single shot to cause mass deaths and destruction.
Maybe it's time to stop blaming an object and actually blaming the person who is doing the killing.
We will continue to chase our tails pointing at blame blindly with no true preventative measures.
What's the cause of these continued mass shootings? Guns? Society? Mental illness? Media? Different groups focus on different reasons, and then those reasons get debated, and all the while no progress is made.
Do Republicans really want to remind everyone that they don't give a crap about people's dead family members because they love guns more than people 10 weeks before midterm elections?
They got it covered with their fake thoughts and prayers lines. Thoughts and prayers for the dead makes it all better. It helps them sleep at night.
Yeah, more guns at a crowded event , where there is mass confusion, is a great solution... That would never lead to more people dying...
after the virginia tech. shooting, many argued it wouldve been prevented if students were allowed to carry guns. cnn showed a paint-ball demonstration from a police instructor where they had a classroom of persons where one was a shooter. even knowing that something was gonna' pop off, there were still many friendly-fires.
Interesting how when its an illegal immigrant, they're all evil murderers who deserve to be shot dead at the border.
But a white guy? The blame is his, and his alone.
