Higher paychecks got you down ? Oh yeah !!!

That was what raising the min. wage was all about BUT it was going to raise prices.

Now that Trump wants to do it suddenly its a bad idea b/c prices will go up.

Dysfunctional logic of the resistance.
The platform of butt hurt liberal gov. policy.
Its only a good idea if its ours.
If we can just lie enough to get in power and show them what we have.
Of course, as Nancy says, we have to pass it to see what's in it.
Oh what a wonderful surprise !!! This chicken poop will sell like chicken nuggets

Well, anyway.

The latest news re this new agreement seems to be as solid as the recent North Korean deal.

Think about this for a moment. Not only did Trump negotiate with the current Mexican President that he has been attacking periodically, he negotiated with the uber-liberal incoming President and his administration as well that hasn't had very kind things to say about anyone. Both administrations in Mexico wanted this deal done. Mexico realized Trump is serious and the party is over. They would be crippled if we tariffed them to oblivion. Then, you have the current Mexican President on a conference call with Trump telling him he can't wait to see him and give him a hug. You can't make this stuff up. Mexico tossed Canada right under the bus.

Canada screwed themselves over and now they will wind up being bent over the table the next 6 to 16 years the way the United States was for the past 25 years. The difference being the United States is a superpower and was able to absorb much of the hit. Canada is a regional country they needed NAFTA more than we needed it. Trudeau's arrogance will cause his people much suffering for the next few years.

Look at the power this Country has when it just raises its arm that barely flexes a muscle. The world believes they could bully us around and has been doing that in one-way shape or form the past 20 years. Trump just reminded the world who we are and in record time. There is a lot of work yet to be done still and time is short. Thank you, President Trump.
And here I didn't think weed was legal in New York.

It's an "understanding" we are now being told. Just another phony Trump deal like North Korea, or the tax bill that would not reduce Trump's taxes, or the health care bill that would cover everyone and the government would pay or the wall that Mexico is going to pay for. With Trump, you wait till you see the ink.

Stop lying. You're as bad as your Glorious Leader. trump wanted to raise tariffs on cars not meeting his standards. But today he signed off on NO CHANGE.

Trump Auto Tariff Threats Risk Delaying New NAFTA Negotiations | Fortune

Even as the U.S. and Mexico have largely finalized a deal on the new auto rules of origin, the U.S. has been pushing for cars that don’t meet the threshold to be subject to a 20%-to-25% tariff, according to the people familiar with the talks. That would represent a major jump from the 2.5% tariff the U.S. charges currently under World Trade Organization rules.

Some people don't like to be kept informed. I see why they miss Obama. Cash in the dark of night on unmarked planes is the only way to get a good deal. Good for the enemy anyway

China is not in TPP, just FYI TPP was all about countering China, while removing tariffs between the member countries.

What North Korean deal? Trump didn't give away the country like Obama did with Iran & Cuba. He hasn't given them anything. They are the ones giving. But no matter.

Bill Clinton's NAFTA is now dead.

Trump still winning.

It's a heck of a deal

Everyone knows he is merely re-naming it, so he can pretend he "re-negotiated" something.

The Mexicans must be laughing their arses off.

This so-called deal (actually, the "understanding") is just an attempt by Trump to change the subject from last weeks disasters.

Nothing else.
