But then again there is the other choice Cuomo which tells a story in itself. What kind of self centered person would freeze out a audience of his constituents so he can be comfortable? Yep, he surely will look out for their best interest when in office. Actions sometimes speak louder then words, of course his campaign did pass out blankets to older law makers while some of his constituents froze their asses off to hear his pyscho babble if they were unaware and forgot their coats and hats.
So NY voters are caught between a rock and a hard place in Idiocracy, do they choose a self centered pig who think he is showing leadership by setting lower temps and having the audience freeze, or a woman who makes the mistake of throwing the woman card down which has nothing to do with Cuomo's flaw of being a self centered pig. Him setting the temp had nothing to do with woman.
Putting on a sweater doesn't do much if your extremities are freezing. One of my offices was so cold I could barely type because my fingers were freezing, and my nose and ears were cold all the time. The guys had no idea and said I must have bad circulation.
It's political strategy. Read up on the Kennedy-Nixon debates. Nixon came across as unbalanced, unprepared and flustered partially due to his appearance. And apparently he was sweating like crazy which did not help his case.
Isn't room temperature generally considered to be 75°F? So 76 isn't that far off.
I don't think it was a good ploy, but I think there was strategy behind it.
Yes, it's like no one else read the whole article.
The article clearly states that Cuomo likes frigid temperatures, and this was probably an attempt to make him uncomfortable.
I don't think it was a great strategy, especially since they should have known the email would be leaked, but it was an interesting idea none the less.
Too bad Chris Cuomo isn't running for governor instead. He'd agree to the higher temp so he'd have an excuse to rip off his shirt and flex.
