Both parties have their authoritarian dark sides to them. Yes, the left has them. But the right not only has an authoritarian side, they have fully embraced it, and voted a deranged ANGRY REPUBLICAN authoritarian lunatic leader to the oval office. Sad!

The RIGHT has the authoritarian problem. They want to limit personal freedoms to their personal religious beliefs.

Or have you fogotten?

Good for you, it's all bull**** regardless.

Meanwhile, Trump is attacking our free press for criticizing the President, trying to get the Justice Dept to investigate only his political enemies, and trying to put together Kim Jong Un style military parades with Trump as the centerpiece.

And you haven't figured out how to look in the mirror and spot the irony.

You don't understand that for marketing purposes Control Left as a counterpoint to ALT Right is the term which caught on?

Also, the word "Liberal" comes from the same word as the word "Liberty," either of which is pretty much the opposite of what the authoritarian Democrat left represents these days.

As a result, we should all be careful never to refer to the authoritarian Democrat ctrl-left as "Liberals" ever again, as they are nothing of the sort.

However, we all know that Trump is a Russian draped in the American Flag.
And we all know he is a Democrat pretending to be Republican because Russia's playmates are Republicans.

Americans want obedience to the constitution and the established rule of law.

Trump Republicans want obedience to Trump and his arbitrary and capricious policy s on law enforcement.
Trumps got both wings filled up. No more room.

His are the dark days of American history.

Oh, the irony of using "deranged" and "Trump" in the same sentence never fails to amuse.

It was Ron Paul about the only politician in the last 15 years that brought up the constitution even when it is inconvenient.

And that about sums it up for both sides, they love the constitution only when t is convenient for a position
Yeah, right. It s what is pulled out when necessary. That s what its for.
This thread is about Trump because he is the epitome of authoritarian policy, right or left doesn't apply right now.

It has been needed in recent months to years , yes.
Trump thinks he's greater than the constitution.
Pride goeth before the fall.
