Well, she should know by now that when things go wrong for him, someone’s going under the bus. And it can’t be news to anyone that you don’t want to the bearer of bad news. Although if it’s true that no one told Trump that Woodward was writing a book about him, he was indeed very poorly served.
I agree. I can only imagine what fears drive them such that they would keep it from him. It must be pure hell for those with a semblance of honor to serve in Trump's administration.
This is that book from Feb. recycled. The same lies repeated 7 months later. Maybe enhanced by Osmosrosoa's book from August. It is getting the same uncritical reviews by the same uncritical people. Repeating lies doesn't make them true.
Bob Woodword's day is long past. Everyone he knows, all his sources, are either retired or dead. He's over.
Right, until he writes a book about a President you don’t like, then all of a sudden he’s relevant.
Yet you did not give ANY reason why he's relevant beyond the events of 1974. This speaks for itself. Now if you wish to respond by googling up something, that will be more of such an indication that even you can't put it into words.
He has quite a few hefty best sellers under his belt, read all over the English-speaking world for insight into the US. They are not bodice-rippers.
The world is full of writers who would kill for that kind of irrelevance.
I almost feel sorry for Kellyanne. I am certain the aftermath of that phone call has been terribly unpleasant for her.
You can bet Trump knew Woodward wanted to talk with him, and he ignored it, as evidenced by his confession that "Lindsey mentioned it". He had plausible deniabilty in his favor as cover when the call started, and could lie and claim no one had told him a thing. Kellyanne shot him out of the saddle and blew his cover. I don't feel a damned bit sorry for either one of them.
You don't have to necessarily show libel actually besmirched a particular person's reputation only that it would be considered reputation harming. You do have to show that the defamation presented was knowingly false.
Yes, I should have said “deliberately besmirched”.
But the concept of libel is meaningless if there is no good reputation to be harmed.

I gave you several reasons back in post #70. I guess you didn't see it.

Accuse him of being an ethical, moral, honest man?
Conservatives too blind or uncaring to realize that a President asking for more strength to beat his critics into silence is Step One to a dictatorship... No surprise.
woodward has written 19 books ( 18 on US politics ) from 1974 to present. 13 of which have been number 1 best-sellers ( including "fear" ).
So? National Enquirer has more readers every week than Woodward. Not one of you can say why he's relevant. That's quite telling.
We know. He doesn't like Trump. That's all you know.
Same reason that Democrats all of a sudden love a dead John McCain.
