If it's anonymous it counts for nothing.
This will not affect Trump's popularity one iota.If anything it will harden the resolve of his supporters against the pink NYT which lost its reputation for balanced reporting years ago.

It doesn't matter who wrote it. Trump was so unprepared for this job that he thought he was taking over a company and all the employees came with the job. In the rush to hire and staff the west wing with the thousands of people needed I would assume there are a number of "flies on the wall" that the administration is not aware of whose devotion is only to the country.

All these White House officials whether current or previous are lying after years and decades of service but Trump, a known liar, and cheat is telling the truth? He was right about one thing, his supporters are gullible.

I think the left shot themselves in the foot with all the hysteria over Trump. If they had treated him like any other president in the past, a report like this might be a lot more damaging than it is now.
He might have been "treated as any other President" had he made even the smallest of attempts to behave presidentially. Trump, would not, indeed could not, because he has to push that meme of his being the "drainer of the swamp". "Only I am qualified to clean house" makes of himself the Roto-Rooter man then has to perform like a trained seal to support that meme.

He created the monster that's now devouring him.

Your country is now being held hostage by little things like an anonymous op-ed piece because the guy in the Whitehouse has set himself up for being knocked off his self erected pedestal. While he rants ineffectually, the business of the country is being left in the hands of those very swamp creatures he imagined for you. They're doing a better job while he is thusly engaged wearing a path in the carpet of the Oval Office.

Don't despair, by next weekend it will be time for another golf trip and all will resume to normal, or at least what passes for normal with this clown show.

I think we all know that his base is going no where. Trump was right when he said he could walk out to 5th avenue and shoot someone, and his base would go nowhere.

What his base fails to understand, is they are in the minority and they are the only ones supporting him at this point.

We cannot say it enough.

Trump's base are loyal but they did not win him the election.

It was the moderate, swing voters and we don't know how they will react.

Is that the only thing that matters is Trumps popularity with his base? What he may or may not be doing in the white house is of no importance whatsoever?

There have already been several people who worked in the White House who said on the record the same thing.

Cones of Dunshire????...ahhh it is not even 9 a.m. here and I already have a long list of items to research today. I am really getting old, I guess, assuming this is a pop cultural reference?
