Who said it was a plant? If there is a Deep State, it is Trump's Deep State--he appointed these people. Or President Bannon did when he was at the WH.

Trump owns this. No more blaming others for his own idiocy.

Yup. Darn those pesky Californians who vote just because they have the right. They should just be polite and refrain.

Or his own inability to forge a real team.

It’s all Trump all the way.

Talking The Latest: Trump wants Sessions to investigate op-ed writer

How certain can tRump be that it wasn't Sessions who wrote that op-ed?

At this point, he can only trust Jared and Ivanka. All the others he personally selected include a group of folks who won't sign up for his idiocy.

The west wing paranoia must be off the charts. Looking forward to a weekend tweetstorm.

Buffalo Springfield sez...

Asked if he would take any action against the Times, Trump says “we’re going to see, I’m looking at that right now.”

Adds Trump: “We’re going to take a look at what he had, what he gave, what he’s talking about also where he is right now.”

Trump says if the person had a high-level security clearance, “I don’t want him in those meetings.”

Trump reiterated that it was a “disgrace” that the Times would publish the piece.

I thought that Sessions is so incompetent that he needs to be fired? I wouldn't want to be in the West Wing today. I bet Trump is running around like a charging bull. The press is almost as frantic, trying to figure it all out. Meanwhile, we are left with the very real possibility that there has been a so-called soft coup in the White House and the President* is so incompetent that he should be deposed via the 25th Amendment.

I'm fed up with living in a Banana Republic. Let's just make America America again.
At this point I believe AA is the best platform for the entire country.😁😘

I agree. Nobody thought "Idiocracy" was going to turn out to be a documentary, either, but here we are.

Trump isn't up for election.

He 'll slip silently into the night in 2020.
Calm down. Democrats want to play with him for a while first. Terrorize the traitor game and watch him try to get in touch with Putin or start trying to bargain and offer them riches.... Love it.

I agree. There's no chance they push for impeachment unless there's iron clad evidence of something. Trump hurts the R brand far more by being in office, yet neutered by congress than being kicked out and becoming a martyr for the base.

Ivanka who hosted a fundraiser for Cory Booker (D) a mere 5 years ago? Who Trump calls a democrat, and whose father has commented about her in sexual ways?
https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trum...ocrats-1112023

And Jared, who Trump said shouldn't serve in the whitehouse?
https://www.jta.org/2018/09/07/news-...ok-fear-claims

And until 3 years ago both had been registered as Democrat. Once her father took the run for the white house, she declared she was a independent.

He can't trust them either. Thats how horrible of a person he is.

Trump would love to be the head of one of those countries where it's a crime to malign him. Can't remember which - Singapore, Turkey, Iran, Indonesia?
