It'll take a couple years but it is gonna happen. Californians are moving to Texas. Won't be long until Californians outnumber all those oil company people moving here from all over the world.
Ted Cruz Carried Double the amount of votes than "Beto" in the Primaries...Beto can campaign till his voice is lost but the truth is, that Texas is still a RED STATE and will be red for the future.

I know plenty of "californians" that left commiefornia and vote all red out here.

Cruz comes across as a snake oil salesman and with an inflated sense of his own abilities and importance. He likes to mention Ronald Reagan but except for a few standard conservative positions Cruz is nothing like Reagan.

I guess your one of our special handicapped citizens that watches CNN everyday for your daily feed of the "un-proven Russian collusion Propaganda"....

You must have watched it so much that you actually believe it now.....

You can boast about the California economy all you want. When it comes down to it though, all major California cities are trashed from Liberal Policies. The state is drowning in $1.3 Trillion in debt, and accounts for more than 55% of their GDP.

Russia on the other hand has 10.6% GDP to Debt Ratio.... So , please tell me who is the reckless spender and who will lose in the end?

Maybe Cruz forgot that Texas Instruments, based in Dallas, is a big silicon chip maker. Or that Intel has a Silicon Chip R & D center in Austin, TX which employs 1700 in Austin. Or that Silicon Chip maker AMD has a laboratory and tech campus in Texas. Seems Ted Cruz doesn't respect those employees and doesn't want those high paying jobs in Texas.

Cruz also forgot that lots of voters dye their hair.

Cruz warned that his opponent Beto O’Rourke would turn the Lone Star State into a version of California, with “tofu, silicon and dyed hair. Not on our watch."

alienating the tech industry -- yeah -- I won't accuse all Republicans with being so naive but Ted Cruz didn't do himself any favors with those comments.

Exactly. In the video, Cruz is very clear. He said silicon. Someone made a typo in the transcript. The video link of Cruz saying silicon is in the 1st post in this thread. He's so clear there is no way anyone can think he said a different word.

What do you think he meant? Do you think he was talking about dyed hair, tofu and threw in silicon circuit board material or do you think he misspoke and mean silicone which would fit into the context of purple hair, tofu burgers and silicone lips, breasts and whatever else might get injected these days?

Do you realize how absurd you look when you create fake outrage over stupid things like this?

I would think a politician would want their state to become a powerful economic engine like CA, right. Tofu is not my favorite but on occasion it is ok. What a weird guy.
