The Sheriff is right, he does have the responsibility to protect citizens. Remember in Taos, it was the Sheriff who busted up the terrorist group. The FBI was fiddling around while that kid died.
You don't shut a place like that down for days on end because of a computer that might have child porn on it.
It is incredible they (the United States government) really believe we are all mushrooms who flourish on the bull s*** they constantly feed us. I'm thinking in this case their logic is that if they use subject matter that is such a huge trigger (child porn), that everyone will focus on that and thus forget rationality.
