They call anyone and everyone 'heroes' and 'inspiration' these days.

A British mom has made headlines all over the world after being photographed taking a break to breastfeed her baby son during a 43-hour ultramarathon.

Sophie Power, who recently competed in the 106-mile, high-elevation Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc trail run through France, Italy, and Switzerland, has been applauded for showing “motherhood endurance” and “the strength of the human body” in the snap, which was taken by photographer Alexis Berg.

The 36-year-old mother of two and avid runner took time to nurse her 3-month-old infant, Cormac, during the challenging race.

Well, I think she's an inspiration. The level of endurance she has - after giving birth 3 months ago - is remarkable.

When I see people do that, I try harder myself to do things that are maybe beyond what I thought I could do physically.

That's how I feel when I'm on what I would call a challenging hike in serious heat, and I see someone old finishing the trail. Inspired.

Ctrl-F, enter "hero" - not found? I for one find it quite inspiring to see humans push themselves to exceed their own limits - in any number of ways, actually.

Are we going to see some fragile masculine egos in the thread?

Tiddies OUT, yo. Good for her. Sometimes I walk around the house with my tiddies out just because I'm too lazy to find a shirt to wear. I'm no hero, though. I put my pants on one leg at a... well, actually... nevermind about the pants. They're in the wash, too. Ultra-marathon, you say, huh? I'll have to look into that.

Good for her. No small feat and most of the people that will comment against it probably get winded getting off the crapper.

I'm curious-how many mothers of 3 month old infants leave their child and go spend a couple days at a sporting event?
