And along those same lines of thought, are you sure your marriage is deserving? I would hate to burst so many heterosexual's bubble of deservedness, but I have known many a married man who was in fact gay.

I'm not against gay marriage because of religion, as a matter of fact im an atheist, so religion has no basis on my beliefs or thoughts.
I think gay marriage is wrong because in my opinion, being gay is wrong. I would say it as nicely as i can, but i dont know how else to word it.
Well, for an atheist, you sure mimic the religious right pretty well! I think a lot of people feel being an atheist is wrong, and one who cannot spell is just even "morre wrongir."

If gay-marriage is illegal because it is against religious beliefs, than it is not a privilege, it is an extension of church/state.

Why should Love be a political statement? If two people love each other, why can't they marry. Without letting other people's beliefs interfere? If two CONSENTING adults want to love each other, then why not? Other people's beliefs, should stay out. Out of respect. Same as how I would respect the religious. But without them interfering with other people's lifes.
Polygamy cannot be portrayed the same, but polygamy is not wrong per-say. How many people can be married to a party though in Polygamy would there be a limit? I would say 17 partners is a nice number. lol jk
Christianity is not the only way to acquire morals. There are dozens of other religions that are seperated from Christianity or Judism.
Examples include, Hinduism, Buddhism, Satanism (which is not pegan at all, it has not to do with) -- these are just the ones that I am very familar with. Especially Satanism (All though the name of "Church of Satan" has nothing to do with Satan, ironic)
