Tell us what happens to individuals in your collectivized system who dont want to go along?
Do you believe North Korea is democratic and the workers own the means of production there? Do you actually believe them?

We know you hate democracy but would you really go so far as to mock the idea of democracy because some third world dictatorship calls itself democratic?

Social dems tend to get voted into power when either a liberal or conservative goverment really screws up the economy...which is usually the worst time for a country to experiment with a social democratic party.

Venezuela is a socialist country.

So was USSR.

Look what happened.

You want to line up for bread, and have rations?

I find people who are so much into socialism only do it because it's "cool" and "different" because they are bored with their lives. Maybe they are rebelling against their capitalist parents who know the economy.

It's funny how they are so for socialism and communism while they are tweeting on their iPhones and can't live without their comforts.

They are the people wearing the Che Guevara shirts without having a clue who he really was.

Wrong. Venezuela is a totalitarian state, like North Korea. USSR was a communist totalitarian state. Neither one are social democracies.

Now look at social democracies like Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway. Places where the standard of living is higher than the U.S., where healthcare is better than the U.S., where the life expectancy is longer than the U.S. Places where you can go to college and not end up with $100k in debt.

... and these leftist-capitalist countries are quite business friendly. Royal Dutch Shell is one of the largest corporations in the world and it's headquartered in the Netherlands. This proves that leftism and capitalism can exist side by side.

If you look at what kind of Democrats have been winning in primaries, you will see that most are "mainstream" rather than far left. Personally, I think it is good for the party to have diversity of thought. Good ideas can come from many directions. When a party gets too bound-in to one viewpoint, and does not allow diversity, bad things are going to happen. Diversity of thought within a party leads to listening and to compromise, rather than division, and that leads to constructive governance.

The left complain that Trump is racist & a dictator. FDR is the real racist and anti-Semite...also a dictator. His tax policies are quesitionable as well.

you know those places have low corporate taxes and are PRO BUSINESS!.......But that won't go with the narrative of Sanders and the socialists in the left here......Sanders wants 50% tax rate to pay for his free stuff.

23% Norway
22% Denmark
22% Sweden
20% Netherlands
18% Switzerland

but your argument fails because none of those countries have the population of 330 million residents not counting the 20 million plus of illegals. The average is 5 million per country. That is not going to work here.
