We had them here during Harvey, and they along with the first responders saved a lot of lives.
Actually, I've had various news stations on all day yesterday covering the hurricane plus I also have a license and my own CB radio to keep at home and in my truck to keep up to date when I'm not at home. I don't know about you, but my friends and family are tight knit, and we have resources and use them to our advantage.

At least this reporter was actually on location...unlike CNN with Desert Storm...or other "on location" fakes.

That doesnt justify this type of misleading coverage which over time will cause the public to not take any warnings seriously.

The Weather Channel really played the hurricane up in the days leading up to it reaching the states. Once it nearly died as it reached shore, they had to do something to help them not look foolish. They probably shouldn't have televised that footage; it doesn't help their effort to make mountains out of molehills.

Sure, there is some pretty bad flooding, but the way they were predicting the end of the world in North Carolina... well, remember the little boy who cried wolf?

That is so disgusting since others are actually suffering real devastating impacts from flooding and coverage of those are possible

Oh, I remember that one!

Another good one was when Geraldo Rivera was knocked on his arse in Galveston, TX by the storm surge..

At least Geraldo wasn't faking it. He was just foolishly putting himself in a dangerous situation.
