I pretty sure Mueller will suspend his investigation any day now. The election season is upon us, and no one wants another Watergate going on in the middle of an election.

Lulls are typical at this stage, not that courts are becoming involved. But once the election is over, I'm sure Mueller will finish up and present his report to Congress.

None of us will know the outcome until he does. The investigation appears to be leak-proof. Everything we have learned so far has come of of one court proceeding or another, but there has been no info at all that has leaked out of Mueller and his team.

Senator Lindsey Graham, a republican, said that "If Trump fires Mueller, it would be the beginning of the end of Trump's presidency".

Mueller is just doing his job. If you want to fire someone, go looking for the guys who hired him.

How do you even know this is a money-wasting boondoggle? His job hasn't ended yet, and you don't know what the end will bring. No one does.

Was Watergate a boondoggle? How much money was saved or wasted in the final accounting afterward?

Government is not always just about money.

Wasting money?

Manafort just forfeited $46 million in his plea bargain. This more than covers the cost of the investigation.

Team Mueller has an investigation to run. Not sure why they would put things on hold during the run up to the midterm elections. Trump isn't running.

Are any Republicans running for election under investigation?

"Most Americans?" Do you have an inside to what is going on in all of America? I would love to "move on," and when we have a competent, clear, critical thinking adult as the president and commander in chief, again, we will be able to "move on."

If Trump was any kind of a decent human being, he would resign and let someone actually lead our country, instead of inane gossip and fighting with world leaders and imposing tariffs and getting rid of regulations for clean air and waters; etc, etc. On and on the damage he has done.

MAGA, Trump move out, so we can move on.

Criminal behavior has consequences. As Manafort, Flynn, and others have found out.

Firing Mueller would have consequences as well.

With Manafort pleading guilty, it is difficult to imagine how Trump could get away with firing Mueller.
