The migrants of today only have to learn english to speak to the native population, but do not need to learn it to speak to each other. As the rate of monolingual migration increases you will see more situations where the migrants decide they never need to learn english at all. You will then get displacement instead of assimilation and you will essentially have two countries in one.
The government is 100% responsible for this

Doesn't matter. Our nation adopted English as it's de facto national language long ago and it should be made official at the federal level. Spanish nor Italian were ever the dominant languages. We have far more native English speakers in this country than either of those two languages.

Funny? I'm certain that you do not understand how irony works.
No one "forced" the English language. It has been the de facto language since even before the establishment of the US.

That has more to do with The English Colonies being larger than the French and Spanish ones were, not because every collectively chose English.

Saw the video. That was ridiculous. What the heck did they hire her for if she can't speak the basic English that is on the order menu. If the menu was in English, then how did she get a job if she can't take an order in English???

The area, from what I have read, is almost all Hispanics/Spanish speakers. So this incident is not too surprising to me, this is a Hispanic area.
