I’m really worried about Pence being president if Trump were to be impeached. Would he try to turn the US into a theocracy?

So, not really.
The point of Obama's Presidency was the "good times are over for good", get over it. I didn't believe. It think that is why MAGA makes Democrats so mad.

Obama was Jimmy Carter's second and third terms. All 12 years were awful.

Instead of throwing out the bums, seems Trump surrounded himself with new ones. Instead of "draining the swamp," we simply got another swamp to contend with, wonder about. A POTUS who instead of explaining why we needed a new health care plan, to cover people with previous conditions, we have a POTUS who explains what women will let you do to them under the right conditions.

Instead of a Noble Peace prize and a world impressed that America would actually elect a black POTUS, we get a wall that Mexico will pay for, and "thousands of Muslims" Trump said were cheering on 9/11. We get the best health care plan ever, never seen. An international trade war and now China cozying up with Russia. Instead of Michelle, we get hanky panky with porn stars and Playboy bunnies and even better, hush money paid in the $100 thousands to keep them quiet.

Not that any of this should have us wonder what else needs to be hushed...

Right, but what about the economy and our 401Ks?

I knew I shouldn't have started this thread, but I do surely miss the good old days before Trump started making America great again...
As much as I hate to say it, there are good and bad in BOTH administrations. Obama penalized you for making “too much $” and FORCED you to carry health insurance. He was pretty strongly pro-illegal, but he was also pro gay equality, civil and most of all intelligent and inspiring. Trump’s actions would set well with more people if he wasn’t such a dummazz and spoke intelligently like a Romney, a Jeb Bush or that really smart Utah governor who never seemed to get anywhere. Obama wasn’t tough enough to fight the savage Repubs who were in control from 2010 onward. They were absolutely ruthless and would not compromise on anything. Trump doesn’t care either and doesn’t seem interested in how history will treat him like other POTUSes.

Ah well. You must REALLY have loved Trump's groveling in Helsinki then.

Heck no. Business is booming and I'm making more money. I'm very pleased.

Kinda like "Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead !" Yes, things are pretty good economy-wise right now, but we all know things are cyclical. And, all Trump has done to keep the improving economy , that Obama, created, is to brag about how he did it all.

You equating good business right now to being all that is important is like a business owner saying " I see lots of my products being shipped, so we are in good financial shape." In the meantime, they are ignoring other factors, like overhead, competition, and other contributing factors.

If we look at where we were 20 months ago, to today, our reputation sucks around the world. His little trade tariffs have backfired to where our American companies are being harmed. Our infrastructure is crumbling, our inner cities are collapsing, and his wonderful immigration plan has cost a zillion bucks and has accomplished zilch. Oh, and where is that wall ?

Anyone who thinks that business doing well and us making a few bucks more needs to learn about what really makes a country healthy and stable. A few bucks extra in your paycheck is not an end all and be all.

Fake news. Last I recall GWB and the GOP knuckleheads de-regulated us into the great recession with Obama coming in to pick up the pieces.

He was the most classless President perhaps in our entire history! Can we say, "dirt bag?"
