Almost every family has at least one member that holds racist thoughts but the "kids" grow out of it and go on to good things but sometimes the "upbringing" comes out and people say stupid things. It doesn't mean they actually feel like that today.
Heck JFK's father was a known nazi sympathizer and the Kennedy family went on to do good things for America.
Ingraham is a Right wing news host and of course she is going to say things that appeal to her audience and she will say other things for the shock value like how many Left wing news hosts do.
What is funny is how they call her a racist and how she is anti immigrant but her adopted daughter is from Guatemala and her 2 adopted boys are from Russia. It sounds like she is more like Trump that she is FOR Legal immigration and AGAINST Illegal.
But of course being on Trumps side in support for anything makes one fair game for the destructive force of the Left.

If she's blatantly vile enough, then yes it is justified. I'm firmly for family support and loyalty, but there are limits - and that limit is if they show a callous, willful indifference toward the dignity and aspirations of others. Besides, it's not as if parents, siblings, and children who are right wing make fun of or otherwise disrespect their own close family members for switching religions, coming out of the closet, or even being "weird", "failures", etc. That sounds like certain conservative's logic to me (unlike you, I won't make a general blanket statement against all conservatives).

In general it's the family members of folks who have turned Nazi (Spencers Parents, etc.) that don't like what their brood have become. So there is certainly a lot more to hate there.....

Let me guess. Her brother asked her for money and she turned him down. Everyone has a relative like that, even the Duchess of Sussex, the former Meghan Markle. The tabloids pay very well.
