Until there is empirical evidence, I remain skeptical. If there is any sort of a "god", it is not an old man sitting on a cloud. It is in some form that be cannot with our tiny little intellects ever begin to comprehend. In all likelihood, we are in for a very long dreamless nap when we close our eyes on this world. If there is a superseding existence to this one, it will possibly be a complete joining of our consiousness with that of the universe and we will become an integral part of that "god" from which we issued.

There are plenty of mysteries in the world to be unraveled. Superstition and belief in some mythical magical entity that will wave a hand and change things isn't the way it will ever happen. I'll stick with science, thanks.
Actually I meant that, judging by your posts here, you don't seem like much of a skeptic today. You're just a leftist who believes in all the standard leftist dogma.

So, maybe you could not try to apply the stereotype in the first place and not try to label an entire state over something like this?
Creationism in public schools, mapped. Where tax money supports alternatives to evolution.

Why do creationists feel so threatened by evolution? Are scientists demanding that evolution be taught at church?

Sounds like I'll have some good company in hell. Cool.

Finally a subject the left and (some of) the right can agree on:
Creationism is nuts.

I have come to believe that while in the beginning God created man, many of them have made monkeys out of themselves.

I may not agree with the Creationist in question, but I revere his right (which soldiers died for) to pursue the things he believes in.
No we got "Power to the Church" and the "things he believes in" means replacing science with superstition in government-run public schools.

Evolution proves that the Bible is a lie. And if enough realize that, they lose control.

Its 2018 and we still have 'sin taxes' on some products, plus many secular laws are derived from biblical law, thou shall not steal, not kill, OBEY authority, etc, etc. LOL

Here in Missouri, car dealers are forced to be closed on Sunday, still one of the old "blue" laws.
