Las Vegas odds makers have Donald Trump at 3 to 1 to win the election in 2020, so Pence at least has a job for a while longer.

Sucker bet is the correct term.

Short term -- I don't think Pence has anything to worry about.

As a Republican -- it will all depend on the final outcome of all of this stuff.

Pence is such a phony. He should have been an evangelical preacher like Huckabee.

Trump is going to take a lot of staff, cabinet, and Republicans down with him. Pence being one of them. I guess Trump was telling the truth when he said he would drain the swamp.

Kind of premature stats considering they don't know who will run against Trump. Did Vegas take into account all the old white men (Trump's base) that will die before 2020?

The odds of Pence surviving this now that Manafort is cooperating are not looking good.

Manafort picked Pence for a reason. What did he bring to the campaign? Pence was unpopular in Indiana, and there other politicians with wider appeal for the Christian Right. His constant claim that this is the first he knew anything about anything is wearing thin.

Manafort knows, and before long, Mueller will know as well, if he doesn't already.

Republicans need someone in that slot who is unconnected to Russian money and Russian attack on our election. Much like Republicans putting Gerald Ford in place before Nixon's downfall, we will know the end is near when some clueless Republican suddenly finds himself as VP.

Pence with his self-righteous complacency is in effect the biggest liar of them all!

I think Jeff Sessions is more worried than Pence.

Since he recused himself right away, he probably has good reason to worry.

His recusal might not be enough to protect him from an investigation if Manafort gives him up to Mueller.

Being the Attorney General doesn't give him any special immunity.

John Mitchell was Nixon's AG, and he was the first cabinet official to be criminally indicted and convicted during Watergate.

Dream on, my friend....hope is good.
