We are all incentivized to be greedy, as capitalism teaches us material ownership of goods is the only way to access wealth.
We act the same to, we just obey the artificial laws set up for us so that the system doesn't destroy itself. Big business needs a state protecting their power.
These people aren't the problem, they are victims of the system, as we all are.
Strange the overwhelming majority of us do not take advantage of a natural disaster and loot a store.

That will be impossible. The distribution of goods would be so different from today’s market economy that you wouldn’t be able to get people to purposely destroy property and goods.
After all this time you still fail to see how this isn’t anything about enforcement, but choice. Worker councils, unions, etc. are all voluntary, and you could produce solely for yourself if need be.

The looters are not just trying to destroy property. For many of them its stealing just for the sake of stealing. They get a thrill out of it.
And again why work for something if you can just take it? Growing up I was much bigger than most kids my age. I used that to my advantage as did others like me. And the smaller kids did what told them to do because they did not want to get beat up.
So everything can in theory be by choice. Some peoples choice will be to take things from others so they don't have to toil away making it. The other person complies because they don't want something bad to happen to them. All choices.
I don't know if you are a man or woman but lots of guys like being the Alpha Male. In charge. You create a society where no one is in charge well that is a huge issue. A lot of gang activity comes from men who do not have much control of their lives or power. So they form a gang and suddenly they have fear and respect from the community. And there are women with that alpha mentality. Lots of people do not dream of simply having their basic needs taken care of and be about the same as everyone else. But you except everyone in your society to be fine with that outcome.
Look at Somalia. That is what happens when everyone is free to do whatever they want without any sort of government to stop them. There are leaders and followers in this world. A world full of followers would never succeed.
I think with how you have described your society with all its good intentions would be susceptible to a Somalia / Mad Max problem. Eventually some sort of police or military would be necessary to control the bad people. Look at the wild west. Lots of good people just wanting a better life and raise a family. They had farms and produced items for others. Not that different than what you want to see in your society. One family grows corn and trades with someone who has flour or sugar or whatever is needed. Simple society without commercialism or greed and really much of a need for money.
But then you had the bad guys who would rob and kill their way across the country. They could have just gotten some land and farmed like the others but they chose the easy way instead. And in the early days of the old west there was no one out there to stop them. I could go on and on with examples.
