Hillary brings it on herself with constant book tours, speaking engagements, interviews, and statements in the MEDIA. She is a media *****, criticizes Trump, and Republicans so gets responses, and comments like these.,

Blame Hillary. If she stayed in her basement drinking Chardonnay (which she admittedly does too much), then people would have nothing in which to respond.

It would be competent and calm and staffed and run by adults. There would be no deranged tweeting in the middle of the night, and no weekly rah! rah! rah! rallies to keep the POTUS's ego fed.

Mainly, we would have a competent, intelligent adult at the helm.
^^^^^^^This.

Lynch would have been placed on the SC, like maybe bill had offered during their secret tarmac meeting

Yeah it would but it wouldn't be flying alone, the Chinese flag would be flapping in the breeze right next to it, and maybe the flags of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as well...hillhag sure 'gets around'

The WH would be a far better run place without daily chaos.

It's all you have.

We have a President currently in office that doesn't even know how to use email.
He can send inane, ranting all-caps tweets of 280 characters, from his gold toilet seat at 2am, mostly mis-spelled and mostly lies.

This is the current level of competence we have in office.

Covfefe.

You are very correct.

A justice department that acts on the law instead of political affiliation is all we have, and we had better fight to keep it or we will all pay a sever price for allowing it to slip through our fingers.

Hillary Clinton is clearly guilty of serious crimes.

She was given a pass by political appointees hoping to not offend the expected winner of the 2016 election.

They committed many crimes by doing so, but more importantly, they date-raped our system of justice in which no one is supposed to be above the law.

They did this while spying on an opposing party's presidential campaign during an election and using foreign intelligence agents, including Russian state actors, to create a fictitious report intended to do damage to the Trump campaign and deceive the FISA court.

Now, a year and a half into a vote recount that morphed into Russia-gate, i.e. the Page-Strzok insurance policy, still no Russian collusion.

That about sum it up?

There wouldn't be a brick or a board left by now.

She would have sold it off while selling us out.
You've already been sold out by Trump's gift to the 1% and the corporations - NONE of which have 'trickled down' to the middle class.

Increased the deficit to a trillion dollars and still thinking about another tax cut to the 1%.

Yeah. Manafort just flipped on Trump so keep consoling yourself however necessary.

LOL, it's funny how trumpers start almost all of the Hillary threads, but folks say it's Hillary bringing it on herself.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you the last time I saw her on tv, but I bet Trump supporters could.

And they "forget" the fact that Trump added more sanctions against Russia.

For once this is a post in this thread that is actually worth pondering. Suppose Hillary had won and the Senate remained the same. The GOP has a 51-49 majority, but not necessarily a conservative majority. Hillary would most likely have been able to confirm Merrick Garland (or a nominee of her own choice).

In any case GOP senators have historically voted to confirm, as long as the nominee is well qualified. Bader-Ginsberg was confirmed 96-3, Sotomayor 68-31, and so on.
http://www.city-data.com/forum/52703494-post51.html

So we would have replaced a conservative (Scalia) with a liberal justice, and reversed the all-important 5-4 conservative majority. Then if Kennedy, and maybe even RBG had decided to resign, it would be a 7-2 liberal majority.

This would have meant a sea-change for decades to come. The election of Trump really screwed us.
