There is a very logical reason though. Donald Trump on his own is an indefensible sleaze of no stature. He has no redeeming features and many character flaws.

It is so much easier to try to compare him to someone that he has already lied about, hit with conspiracy theories and fictional stories that the alt-right happily, and without evidence, propagate. All this sexual assault talk is making Trump & Co. nervous. Hitting a little too close to home.

The cult solution? Bring back Hillary to make that limp biscuit of a president look better. I do not know why--it only works for the faithful. Nobody else cares. People are focused on now and the midterms. These deflections (and have you noticed how many Hillary threads there are on a daily basis?) are futile.

As for how the WH would look if Trump wasn't there?

The highly unqualified and inexperienced Ivanka and Jared would not be WH Senior Advisors of Nothing. MiniMe would still be following in his father's footsteps, cheating on his wife and having a career Daddy gave him, but we would not have his incredible ignorance and self-entitlement on full and public display. Melania would be in NYC doing lunches and spas with other non-working friends and happy as a clam.

The circus would have never come to town, and the ringmaster would still be a game show host, the US would still be internationally respected and nobody would know what The Emoluments Clause or the 25th Amendment is.
