Robots. Automation is already taking over these jobs.

I want better assimilation before bringing in more immigrants from places that don't adhere to western societies cultural norms. I'm all about the melting pot, I just don't want to melt the actual pot.

No lie, you have some far left liberals teaching kids that assimilation is cultural imperialism and or cultural genocide now.

But not too many from any one culture that is vastly different than the general U.S.A culture. Assimilation is critical.

How long have you been in the U.S.?

I lived north of Tel Aviv from 2011-2014 due to work. Housing prices were crazy high (as were taxes) and there was city wide price protests for the 1st 6 months or so I lived there.
They bring the welfare culture to the table.

I am ok with low-skilled workers like Latino farm workers, or construction workers. The bigger issue for me is the increase of doctors, engineers etc high earning jobs going from Americans to Indians. I have been to clients where 90+% of the IT employees were Indians.

Until we get our borders under control, and a good system in place to e-verify those who do come in - I would cut immigration to zero.

No one "owes" allegiance to anyone in a free country, and you don't get to say what all Americans do or do not want. Also, what do you mean by "your foreigners?"

This bothers me more, too. Also, what about the off-shoring of call centers? That takes jobs from Americans, too, and there is nothing more frustrating than to place a call for tech support only to be placed on hold forever, and then get someone who speaks barely understandable English and is clearly reading from a canned script. Do something about that rotten practice first, and then get back to me about how Mexican roofers and gardeners are destroying America.
